Indigo Dye Workshop April 25th

What you’ll learn: Dye Vat Preparation: Learn how to create and maintain an indigo dye vat.

Shibori Techniques: Create various resist-dyeing techniques, including folding, clamping, stitching, and binding fabric.

Color Control: Understand how to achieve different shades of blue through multiple dips in the dye vat.

Fabric Manipulation: Gain skills in manipulating fabric to create unique designs and texture

Includes: All supplies to dye 4 tea towels and a canvas tote bag.

Students are allowed to bring a natural fiber (cotton, silk, denim etc.) garment to dye in the vat at the end of class.

Dress in clothes and shoes you don't mind getting stained or wet. Consider wearing a hat and sunscreen because we will be working outside.

Feel free to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy during the event.

Classes have a four student minimum. If that minimum is not met, refunds will be issued to registered students. 

If a student cannot attend a registered workshop, they must contact Bianca for re-enrollment in the next available session.
