Meet Bianca Springer

Bianca Springer is the creator and founder of Thanks. I Made Them, Sew Can You.

Bianca has been a maker for as long as she can remember. She has a passion for vintage styles, upcycling, and collecting vintage fabric and patterns.

Bianca studied Psychology and earned a Master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. She applied those skills working to resolve employee discrimination complaints and later, student discipline issues at a major university.

With the premature birth of her first child, she became a stay-at-home mother. During this time her creative passion was reignited with her making garments for her family. Bianca is passionate about education and over the years has taught many children and adults to sew.

Bianca is a pattern designer, sewing influencer and freelance magazine writer. As a small business owner, Bianca is the creator and designer of a range of sewing pattern weights to improve the sewing experience and increase cutting efficiency.

Bianca’s first book Represent! Embroidery Stitch 10 Colorful Projects & 100 Designs Featuring a Full Range of Shapes, Skin Tones & Hair Textures is scheduled to be released in September 2022.
